Innes Reid are extremely proud to announce that the firm have been awarded the much coveted 'Chartered Financial Planners' title by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The award of Chartered title is strictly controlled by the Privy Council and is an objective measure of the very highest standards of professionalism.
Chartered status is only awarded to firms with a commitment to developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their people. It also signifies adherence to a demanding code of ethical practice and is the gold standard of what is generally accepted as an emerging new profession. We are one of around 440 Chartered Financial Planners in the UK (the Financial Services Authority currently regulates about 29,000 firms, which indicates the value of the award).
Chartered firms must ensure staff members acquire and develop the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality advice. They must also work in an ethical manner that places clients' interests at the heart of the advice they give.
Achieving the prestigious Chartered status will help us to continue to attract and retain the industry's most talented professionals who want to work for an ambitious, principled organisation.
At Innes Reid we believe that Chartered status demonstrates our very clear commitment to our clients. It also recognises the quality of our advice and service, and clearly sets us apart from our competitors.
